What is the impact of COVID-19 on the construction industry?
We continued to execute our construction works on all our projects even during the lockdown. We have taken all the necessary measures in accordance with the official guidelines of local and international health organizations. According to EUROSTAT data from May 2020, the construction business in EU has decreased by 10% in comparison with the same period in 2019 and the COVID-19 situation is already changing the market trends. However, we expect that the Financial Stimulus package of the EU will offset this decrease and will provide a solid foundation for the construction industry in the next 10 years. Within our organization, we are heavily investing in digital transformation projects that will further increase the efficiency and boost the innovations within the company.
